Description Technical Specs   Steeda Handling Pak - Stage 2 - '05-'08 Ride quality remains excellent compared to stock with race car like handling and control. This package will dramatically reduce understeer and produce more neutral balance without reducing suspension compliance. This package will lower the vehicle about 1 inch in the front and 1 1/4 in the rear for a great appearance and improved weight distribution. Package Includes: 555-8215 - Steeda Sport Springs Springs are the foundation of good handling. So start with the best. Steeda springs are all custom made to our specifications and were developed in conjuction with Ford Motor Company engineers through our technology transfer program. Steeda spring provide the best combinations of handling and ride quality available! Steeda Sport Springs - Part Numbers: 555-8215/8216 Lowers the vehicle approx 1 inch front, 1 1/4 inch rear. The S197 Mustang sits high in the rear, these springs will give it a more aggressive look. Maintans good ride quality for daily driving Big improvement in handling and noticeable reduction in nosedive 555-5718 - Steeda Steel Strut Tower Brace Steeda's double bar Chrome-Moly Alloy Steel strut tower brace is a great addition to your S197 Mustang. With 2 bars made of chrome moly steel instead of regular mild steel you get double the strength over competitive mild steel braces. Several part numbers are available accomodating V6 and GT V8 models as well as most aftermarket intake plenum cover designs. 555-1050 - Steeda Adjustable Front Sway Bar Steeda's 1 3/8 inch diameter swaybar is a direct bolt on for your S197 Mustang and is lighter than all other aftermarket options. This bar features 3 adjustment positions for fine tuning of handling balance. Provides a 10% to 85% increase in roll stiffness depending on the size of your O.E. front swaybar. Looking for the ultimate handling combination? Use this swaybar with Steeda's 555-1054 rear swaybar for competition level handling for your street driven Mustang! Note: V6 models come with a 28mm front swaybar for an 85% increase in roll stiffness. V8 GT and GT500 models are equipped with a 34mm front swaybar for a 10% increase in roll stiffness. Note: Steeda's swaybar ends are patented! 555-1052 - Steeda Rear Sway Bar w/ Endlinks Steeda's rear swaybar for S197 Mustang is a direct replacement larger diameter bar for the performance enthusiast. This bar provides a 50% increase in roll stiffness for improved handling, improved steering response, and reduced understeer for improved handling balance. A must have for the cornering enthusiast and perfect for street or track use. Part number 555-1056 includes Steeda's swaybar and outer mounting hardware. This swaybar uses the factory endlinks on GT HARDTOP models. Convertible models have different endlinks and are not compatible. Customer must purchase Hardtop endlinks separately from local Ford dealer or for the ultimate in control, use 555-1052 which includes new billet machined aluminum swaybar endlinks with urethane bushings. 555-1052 is compatible with all V8 models. For V6 models without a rear swaybar, order part number 555-1052 and part number 555-1061 hardware kit for a complete installation.
